Expanding Horizons
Two special guest ensembles will be joining the Symphony for a unique concert! The renowned Dalí Quartet and the Delaware Hayes Players will perform alongside the Symphony. The concert will feature two Ohio premieres, one by Sonia Morales and another by Atlanta composer Juan R. Ramírez. Additionally, the Hayes Players will be collaborating with the Quartet and Symphony to perform Danzas de Panama by Ohio composer William Grant Still.
This event marks the end of a special week of music-making in Delaware. Expanding Horizons includes the Dalí Quartet working with all 600 students in the Delaware City Schools orchestra program! That is 1/70th of the population of Delaware! The Dalí Quartet's residency at Hayes High School is supported by the Loft Violin Shop.
