A Gala with the Great Gatsby
In his blue gardens men and girls came and went like moths among the whisperings and the champagne and the stars.
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote The Great Gatsby one hundred years ago, in 1925. A century later, the glamor of the jazz age still fascinates us.
In the spirit of the Roaring Twenties, the Friends of the Symphony are hosting a gala!
Join us at Twenty Three North for drinks, dinner, and dancing. You'll dine with some of the famous celebrities of the 1920s, then bid on exclusive items at a live auction. The evening will conclude with dancing and live jazz. Instructors from Fred Astaire Dance Studios will be available to demonstrate and teach the Charleston and other popular 20s dances!
